If you haven’t already heard Red Fraction is now out, so hurry and go get yourself a copy. You know you want to.

That aside, I have written out the lyrics to the full song and also provided two different links to download the whole thing. So, you can listen to that until your physical CD arrives. Optionally, you can also head over to Tokyo Toshokan and grab one of the 5+ torrents. And yes everyone should buy the CD it’s just that good.

Anyway, I personally LOVE this song it’s definitely at the top of my list for best ops this season. The song fits the show so perfectly I don’t think it could have possibly been done any better.

That is a reference to “The Volga Boatmen’s Song” It’s a Russian song about people in the depths of misery that was inspired by a painting called “Burlaks on the Volga” You can find the lyrics and learn more about it here.

My Musings:

Hmm you know “Suck away the tender part” that reminded me of Rammstein’s song Mein Teil which is about “eating people.” I wonder if they got any inspiration from it or not? Anyway, you can check out the lyrics in German and English here. Rock on Rammstein!
