One great thing that Black Lagoon teaches us is to never judge a book by its cover, because you will get fucked up if you do. Sound blunt? Well it’s true so take head.

In this wonderful episode we have the amazing multi talented Rock (villain in training), a freaky looking maid (crazy and insane killer), and a cute little kid (a boy genius with an attitude problem). Ah yes, Black Lagoon never ceases to amaze me.

This episode starts off just like any other normal day for the Black Lagoon crew. Then again, they never really have a normal day do they? However, this one is exceptionally abnormal. How so? Rock gets a job done all by himself. *is in amazement* Yes at the very beginning Rock gets a job done and therefore this show will go down in Black Lagoon history. Everyone Rejoice!

Ok now that I have made a big deal out of a very little part let’s continue shall we. After Rock is all done with his job he gets back on the BL boat and low and behold he has a kid with him. No he didn’t just find it somewhere and decide to take him home to the others. The kid is actually the crew’s new “package” that they have to deliver to the Colombian mafia. Thing is the Cartel that gave them the kid also lied about who the kid actually is. It turns out that the kid is part of some important family in South America called the Loveless Family. So, once Dutch finds out he gets a bit worried to say the least. When a client lies you know something bad is going down.

During this time we find out that Revy sucks as a baby sitter. So, if you have ever thought of hiring a crazy gun totting hot girl to baby-sit your kid, please reconsider or you may not like the outcome. Granted if it was me being baby sat by Revy I would immensely enjoy it even if I got shot, but then again that’s me.

One thing that bothered me about the beginning half of this episode was the way things were between Revy and Rock as well as Revy’s attitude. I mean is it just me or does it feel like the last episode was a total waste now? Revy still has no respect for Rock at all and she was as cold hearted as ever. She came right out an said its all about the money and picked on the kid the whole way through. Oh well, guess that’s Revy for you. (I don’t know Japanese but I think Revy might kind of make up for it in the next episode.)

Ok so to top it all off, the crew and the kid head to the “Yellow Flag” bar. Where *drum roll please* Roberta just showed up looking for the kid. Yeah Roberta is the kid’s childhood friend and house maid. To make matters worse, the Columbian mafia is there too. An important thing to note is that Revy has been making fun of the kid’s maid the whole way to the bar; needless to say what comes around goes around. Now then, when the BL crew walk in Roberta is speaking to the mafia who she happens to be rather pissed at for taking the kid away in the first place. Of course dressed like she is the mafia think she is hilarious. That is until she picks up her umbrella/riot shotgun and blows the hell out of them. The End. What?! The end! Nooooo it was just getting good. T_T Yep that’s it quite an interesting episode to say the least. *continues to dream about being baby-sat by Revy*

My rating: 7/10

My Musings:

Ok so I finally figured out what car it is that the Black Lagoon crew drive. I do believe it to be a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS with some slight modification to the grill. All I got to say is that a 70’s Chevelle SS kicks ass those cars have 450hp. Talk about power.
